Your privacy is of paramount importance to us. We treat the following policy – and breaches of it – as a most serious matter. It is part of Iternal’s policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we collect from you.

We only ask for personal information when we need it to provide a service to you. We collect it, with your knowledge and consent, by lawful means and will let you know why we’re collecting it and how it will be used.

You may refuse our request for your personal information, with the understanding that we may be unable to provide you with the desired services.

All the data we store is encrypted end to end and protected within commercially acceptable means in order to prevent loss, theft or any other foul play including: unauthorised access; disclosure; copying; use or modification.

We only keep the information we have collected from you for as long as necessary to provide you with the requested service. 

We do not sell personal or sensitive user data, ever.

We do not share any personally identifying information publicly or with third-parties, except when required to by law.

Your rights in respect to the personal information we hold on you

In brief, your rights in regard to the personal information we hold on you are:

Access: You have a right to find out what personal data we hold about you, and certain other information such as how we are using it.

Withdrawal of consent: We rely on your consent to use your data and you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time. You can do this by contacting us directly by emailing [email protected]

Changes To This Policy

From time to time we may change this Privacy Policy and could do so at any time. You can tell when this policy was last reviewed by the data that is located at the bottom of this Privacy Policy.

All updates made are effective immediately, which we may give by any means, including, but not limited to; by posting a revised version of this Privacy Policy or other notice on the Website. It’s a good idea to review this Privacy Policy every so often to stay informed of changes that may affect you, as your continued use of Iternal signifies your continuing consent to be bound by this Privacy Policy. Our electronically or otherwise properly stored copies of this Privacy Policy are each deemed to be the true, authentic, and actionable copy of the version of this Privacy Policy which were effective on each respective date you visited the app.

Account Information

By creating an account with Iternal, you agree that all the information provided to us is accurate, as complete as possible, and current at all times. Failure to do so is a breach of these Terms, and could result in the termination of your account.

You give us permission to store and process any personal details and information you provide, which we will store securely and encrypted end-to-end.

You are responsible for the choice of and safeguarding the password that you use to access Iternal, and for any and all activities or actions under your password. 

You agree not to disclose your password to any third party.

Should you suspect a breach of security in any capacity, you must notify us immediately upon becoming aware.

Iternal may store Data for up to 1 year after your account is deleted, unless otherwise stated or required by law. We keep this data during this period of time in case we need to respond to any enquiries from you. We may keep anonymised data for a longer period of time for analysis purposes.

Content Posting

When using the app, you (the user) agree to:

Not use the app for any unlawful purpose and not to violate any applicable local, national or international law.

Not defame, abuse, harass, stalk, threaten or otherwise violate the legal rights of others.

Not post any personal information or images identifying a minor without the prior written consent of that individual’s parent or guardian.

Not impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.

Not submit content that contains material that is untrue, inappropriate, tasteless, likely to cause distress, harmful or inappropriate for minors to view, culturally insensitive, unlawful, threatening, abusive, hateful, profane, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, racially vilifying, deliberately provocative or indecent.

Not infringe the Intellectual Property Rights of others.

Not upload files, or cause users to upload files that contain viruses, corrupted files, or any similar software or programs that may adversely affect, overburden or disable the operation of Iternal or the operation of another’s computer or otherdevice.

Not advertise any goods or services.

Not solicit anyone to buy or sell products or services.

Iternal reserves the right to remove any content that breaches these Terms.

Data access, Collection, Use, and Sharing

Photos: you can give Iternal permission to access your Photos, so that they can be easily added to your timeline. 

Camera: you can give Iternal access to your camera, this allows you to take new photos and add them to your timeline.

Device Microphone: you can give Iternal access to your microphone, this allows you to directly record audio and add it to your timeline.

We do not share any personally identifiable information, with any third-parties, other than where we are legally required to do so.
